We aim to equip students with key design and technology skills and encourage them to go on and become the next generation of creative practitioners. Our mission is to build confidence, encouraging students to take ownership of their work and to develop their thinking into creative ideas.
As well as developing practical skills, the study of design and technology encourages you to think about functionality, about costs and benefits and about sustainability. You practise reflective thinking through product evaluation.
