Many congratulations to Miss Clark who has been shortlisted for Teacher of the Year in this year’s Educate Awards!
Educate Awards is the largest annual celebration of schools, colleges, teachers and support staff across the north west of England.
Mr Sterry says:
“Miss Clark is a fantastic classroom practitioner who has also done outstanding work to improve learning in statistics in school and to support young people across Merseyside through her work with the Mathematical Education on Merseyside charity and the University of Liverpool.
“The Teacher of the Year category attracts lots of nominations every year, so this shortlisting for Miss Clark is an outstanding achievement. We all wish her success at the prestigious awards ceremony at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on 13 November.
“The nomination adds to Ridgeway’s record of success at the Educate Awards in recent years and comes on the back of recognition at the Pearson National Teaching Awards earlier this year for Ms Williams, Mr Dudley and Mrs Hewson.”
