Huge congratulations to the Year 7 boys’ football team who have reached the final of the Merseyside Cup after twice coming from behind in a hard-fought semi-final away at Rainford.
The final – against Maricourt Catholic High School – takes place on Tuesday 15 May at the Liverpool Soccer Centre, Walton Hall Avenue, Liverpool, L4 9XP. Kick-off is at 4.30pm.
Mr Metcalf, Head of PE, said: “This is a fantastic achievement by the students – and one that is thoroughly deserved. All support is welcome to cheer on our side for what promises to be a great spectacle of schoolboy football.
Please bring any blue/white scarfs and flags you have. Anything left over from Tranmere’s visit to Wembley or any Everton scarfs etc. are welcome to make pitchside as blue as possible.”
