Wirral SEND Survey 2026

Parents, carers, children and young people across Wirral are invited to take part in the first Annual SEND Survey.

The survey gives families the chance to share their views and experiences of special educational needs and disability (SEND) services. These services support children and young people in education, health and social care.

The surveys have been developed through the Local Area SEND Partnership and are designed to become a once-a-year opportunity for parents, carers, and children and young people with SEND to share their experiences in a clear, consistent way.

There are actually two surveys: one for parent / carers and the other for children and young people.

Both surveys have been co-produced with families and young people, ensuring that the questions reflect families’ real experiences and focus on what matters most to those using SEND services.

Please take the time to complete the surveys if they are relevant to you and your family. Your feedback will be listened to and used.

The surveys will help SENDLO to understand what is working well, where families continue to face challenges, and what the impact of recent changes has been.

All questions in this surveys are optional. If you don’t want to answer a question that is okay. You can just leave it blank.

There is support available to take part, including Easy Read and paper versions of the surveys. You can also go to any of the SENDLO Drop-Ins for help to do your survey.
