A group of students attended a volunteer fair at The Mosslands School in October to help spread the message about the benefits of getting involved in extra-curricular activities in and out of school.
The visit to the Volunteer, Fundraising and Enrichment Fair enabled the students to meet volunteers and activity providers and to explore the world of the third sector (a term used to describe voluntary organisations and the work they do to make a difference in society).
It was a chance to find out more about ways to get involved in community-based activities and about other enrichment and personal development opportunities outside of school.
