This is a letter for parents and carers sent out to schools on 6 December by the UK Health Security Agency about a national increase in notifications of scarlet fever, above seasonal expected levels. It sets out the signs and symptoms of scarlet fever and the actions to be taken if you think that you or your child might have scarlet fever.
