Ridgeway High School’s careers programme — which we call Futures — has been reaccredited with a national award, the Quality In Careers Standard.
Mr Sterry said: “We are immensely proud of Futures – the name we use for everything we do at Ridgeway to prepare students for life after they leave us.
“The Futures programme has continued to grow and develop since we became the first secondary school in the north-west to be awarded the prestigious Quality in Careers Standard in 2019.
“I am delighted with the news that Ridgeway has now been reaccredited. Along with our success in the Careers and Enterprise category in the Educate Awards, it is another indication of the scope and success of our Futures programme.”
