We are delighted with the response of students – and parents – to our new Proud initiative, which we introduced in February.
Proud is one strand of our rewards and recognition strategy, an additional way of demonstrating to students that when they do something well it is acknowledged, recognised and valued.
Proud is all about encouraging students to feel proud of themselves, proud of their efforts and accomplishments, and proud of their school.
Each week members of staff nominate students that they are proud of because of something the students have done or achieved.
We display Proud nominations around the school and discuss them in assembly every week.
