A group of Ridgeway students represented Ridgeway at an event called the Great British Spring Clean 2025 that took place in Noctorum at the end of March, when members of the public were invited to come along for a few hours during the day and help tidy up the local area.
The Spring Clean was part of the Evolve strategy, a joint initiative by Wirral Council and Merseyside Police to build community resilience. It was supported by Keep Britain Tidy and Safer Wirral.
Mr Sterry said: I am delighted that a number of students have shown a willingness to take part and represent the school at this community event. Volunteering – whether in or out of school – aligns with our LEARN values, demonstrating leadership qualities and a strong sense of social responsibility.”
