This year’s Educate Awards ceremony is being streamed live on YouTube on Friday (29 January), and the PE department is yet again in the running for one of the awards.
This year’s ceremony is a virtual event. It is being streamed live on Educate Awards’ YouTube channel. Simply go to the YouTube site and search for ‘Educate Awards’ or click here to go to their channel. The event is due to start at 6.15pm and will last about 90 minutes.
The department has been nominated in the Outstanding Commitment to Sport in Secondary School category. This is the third time that the department has been nominated in this category.
Ridgeway’s PE department was also nominated last year in the PE Department of the Year category at the Wirral Sports Forum Awards. In addition, it was awarded the School Games Virtual Award in the summer.
