After a nail-biting wait over the summer holidays, GCSE results day has finally arrived. Well done to our year 11 students. Today is the culmination of months of hard work and it is fantastic to see how their efforts have been rewarded. We are particularly delighted with the increase in 7–9 grades, with many more students achieving the very top grades.
Preparing for exams is never easy but, with all the Covid-related disruption over the last two years or so, it has been hugely challenging for this group of students. They have shown outstanding resilience. That’s why these results are so well earned and well deserved. We are incredibly proud of them.
Our leavers are now embarking on the next stage of their educational journey, with many of them taking an academic pathway. We wish every one of them success in whatever they choose to do.
