In early December, we welcomed back last year’s Year 11 students for their awards evening.
Mr Taylor said:
“This is always one of my favourite occasions in the school calendar. A few short months ago, these students were sitting GCSE examinations; now, they are embarked upon their post-16 journey and adulthood beckons. For me, therefore, as well as being an opportunity formally to congratulate students on their efforts, successes and achievements during their time at Ridgeway, awards evening is also a reminder of our core purpose as a school – to prepare our young people to take their place in the world, equipped and ready for the challenges of modern life.”
