Congratulations to Archie in year 10 who represented Cheshire last weekend in an archery competition in York involving competitors from five counties.
Archie achieved the prestigious Rose Award status, scoring a personal best and club record of 943 points despite atrocious weather conditions.
Archie has been a member of Bebington-based Wirral Archers since the age of 12. He practises with them three times a week.
Archie’s next competition is on 16 October, when he is hoping to achieve a new personal best. Next year the selection process for Team GB begins.
