The girls of 9KCA arrived at form this morning to find chocolate bars on their desks! The chocolate was a gift bought for them by Artem, Tom and Daniel, who are also members of 9KCA.
It was Artem’s idea.
Artem is from Ukraine, and 8 March is a Ukrainian national holiday to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Artem wanted to bring a bit of his culture to Ridgeway, and so he and his friends Daniel and Tom bought chocolate for every girl in the form.
It was, he said, a tradition back at his old school in Ukraine.
This was amazing! So thoughtful – a really lovely gesture from Artem, Daniel and Tom!
