The most important student leadership roles in the school are those held by members of the extended student senior leadership team (SSLT).

Student leaders from years 7–10 will be appointed in the autumn term.
Our student leaders play a vital role at Ridgeway, for example at events such as open evening. They are our ambassadors, representing the school and helping to show us at our very best. Without exception, they are proud to attend Ridgeway High School and do a wonderful job of conveying that pride to our visitors.
Some of the students were involved in interviewing candidates for our assistant headteacher vacancy when they attended for interview recently. The students certainly did a fantastic job, asking intelligent questions.
Our extended student leadership structure also gives them the opportunity to be involved in important areas of school life – inside and outside the classroom – and help make decisions about how the school operates.
