Emotional Barriers to School Attendance Free Training for Parents/Carers

News of free training for parents and carers of children and young people experiencing emotional barriers to school attendance (EBSA).

Wirral EBSA Strategy are offering free one-day training for Wirral parents and carers.

The training will provide parents and carers with:

information about emotional barriers that can impact on school attendance
practical tips and strategies for supporting children and young people at home, including neuro-affirmative approaches
guidance on how to raise concerns with schools. This includes how to work with professionals to support children and young people

The training is at Mallory Building, 2 Alice Kerr Square, Birkenhead, CH41 2AB (the new, sandstone-coloured building next to the Birkenhead market).

The session runs from 9.30am to 2.45pm.
