This is a great subject to study if you have a genuine interest in animals because it offers a practical-based, hands-on approach to the management and welfare of animals.
We have our own animals on site as well as links with local farms to ensure a high level of work experience and enable students put theory into practice.
We put theory into practice by caring for the animals we have on site — cleaning and maintaining their environments, and carrying out health checks and behaviour observations.
This qualification is of particular interest to students who are interested in caring for and working with animals.
