Remembrance

We have spent time this week remembering those who have served and who continue to serve on our behalf, including the many men and women who have given their lives.

The theme of this week’s virtual assemblies for all year groups is remembrance. In addition, year 7 students have spent time in lessons today (11 November, the anniversary of the armistice that ended the First World War) exploring the meaning of remembrance, asking two questions in particular:

  • Why is it important that we continue to remember those who have died on our behalf?
  • What are the different ways that we can remember them?
